Another problem that plagues|troubles|bothers|afflicts the
children from less advantaged backgrounds is their limited access to financial support and expert guidance. Children with highly-educated and rich paients
are more likely to be better off economically,
not only because they have sufficient financial
backup but also because they can easily
seek the support from others, for example, the friends of their parents,
professionals in different occupations|jobs.

Poverty is one o f
the main problems in the countryside, either
entrenched/well-established/ingrained/deep-rooted or escalating/rising/swelling/getting bigger,

receive adequate child care or comfortable housing than their urban
counterparts.
These conditions are

Another problem is

areas, are attributed to a mixture of factors—lack of public schools,
children’s early involvement in income-generating activities and inadequate
awareness of education. It is quite clear that income disparity|difference|discrepancy between urban and rural
families leads to the difference in the access to education, which has a bearing|influence|effect|impact|relevance on
children’s characters. While a well-educated child is confident,
broad-minded|open-minded|tolerant, creative and cultivated, a poorly-educated
child is inhibited, narrow-minded|prejudiced|bigoted or even boorish|ill-mannered|impolite|crude.
